This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how Coastwood Furniture delivers NZ-made and imported furniture across New Zealand, including manufacturing timeframes, delivery costs, and what to expect on delivery.
Manufacturing & Delivery Timeframes
The majority of Coastwood Furniture products are NZ-made and made-to-order.
- Standard manufacturing and delivery time is approximately 6 weeks from order confirmation
- Lead times may vary during peak periods
- Deliveries to rural or outlying areas may take longer and may be handled by third-party carriers
If you require furniture urgently or by a specific date, please contact us at info@coastwoodfurniture.co.nz prior to ordering and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
Delivery Costs
- Residential delivery: $150 flat rate - per delivery
- Rural delivery: $180 flat rate - per delivery
For deliveries to locations outside mainland New Zealand, including Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island, and the Chatham Islands, please contact sales@coastwoodfurniture.co.nz for a quote.

Delivery Process & Access Requirements
Coastwood Furniture uses fragile freight carriers for all deliveries.
The freight company will contact you using the phone number provided at checkout to arrange a suitable delivery time.
Delivery is door-to-door only and does not include:
- Carrying items upstairs
- Placement of furniture inside the home
- Removal of packaging
Customers are responsible for ensuring clear, safe, and suitable access to the delivery address at the agreed delivery time.
Coastwood Furniture reserves the right to refuse delivery if access is unsafe or unsuitable, and additional delivery charges may apply where re-delivery is required.
