At Coastwood Furniture, we are committed to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This policy explains your options for returns, faulty items, and refunds.

Change of Mind Returns

We’re confident you’ll love your Coastwood furniture, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If you change your mind, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

To request a return, please contact sales@coastwoodfurniture.co.nz with your order details. Change-of-mind returns must be:

  • In as-new condition
  • Not used, damaged, or altered

Please note:

Special-make custom items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Return freight costs will apply. Refunds are processed once the item has been returned and inspected.


Faulty or Damaged Items

If your furniture arrives damaged or develops a fault, please email sales@coastwoodfurniture.co.nz as soon as possible and include photos where applicable.

Where an item is faulty, Coastwood Furniture will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act, including covering any associated freight costs.


Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5 working days of confirmation and issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

 

Your Rights Under New Zealand Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to remedies for faulty products as provided by New Zealand law.
