We make every effort to ensure that our web images match the actual finish of our furniture, through photographs and rendered images. However, due to variations in lighting, rendering software and computer monitor settings, the images you see on the website may vary slightly from the finish of the real-life product.

NZ Radiata Pine

The majority of our furniture is made from Radiata Pine timber which is sourced from sustainable FSC certified West Coast forests. Consistent rainfall, sufficient sunlight, especially during Spring and Summer, and the cool climatic conditions of the West Coast region of New Zealand are the reasons why quality Pine flourishes in this region. The light consistent colour of Radiata Pine readily accepts stains and its general properties make it ideal for producing high-quality furniture.

Please note that we do not recommend painted finishes for table tops due to susceptibility to scratches/marking in high use areas. Any orders for painted tables will incur extra cost and have no warranty. For more information on our finishing process, read our Furniture Finishing Guide.

American Ash

American White Ash is a porous hardwood that is dense and hard-wearing. It grows across the entire Appalachian area on the East Coast of the United States. American White Ash has a definite, well-defined grain which shows up beautifully with any of our stains.

Colour Matching

If you can't find the perfect colour from our standard options, we can also colour match to any Resene or Dulux colour, as long as it is compatible with timber furniture. Additionally, we have the ability to stainmatch to your existing furniture, which means you can send us a sample of your current furniture colour i.e., a drawer front or small piece of furniture and we will mix up a colour that matches as closely as possible.
